Tough touch panel chemically strengthened glass support type has the same structure as the standard Film-Glass type touch panel only replacing lower electrode glass to chemically strenghened glass.

Comparing to the normal glass material, this touch panel offers three times more weight resistance and over twice more impact resistance.

Due to the material flexibility characteristic, polycarbonate bends at the time of input. If the size of touch panel is smaller, the bending of substrate will be smaller and does not influence LCD image. However, the bending gets greater if the size of touch panel becomes bigger, and that is the reason of reccommending the use of chemically strengthened glass for bigger sized tough type touch panel.
