Gunze has developed industrial-grade machine thread products that improve apparel makers’ productivity as well as high-value-added sewing thread for special applications, and other functional products. Overseas, Gunze also markets threads and accessories mainly in China, Indonesia and other Southeast Asian countries.
Gunze sewing thread is available in an extraordinary choice of materials and colors. These high-quality threads can be used for sewing clothing as well as automotive internal parts.
Gunze provides a wide range of auxiliary materials including waist elastic for boxer shorts and briefs, and women’s innerwear parts. Also available are colorful microtape products and functional flat elastics, both of which enhance design and appearance of apparel products.
Gunze produces and sells machine thread for sewing car airbags. Gunze is expanding production sites and distribution channels for this high-performance textile material both in Japan and abroad.
Gunze also produces various label materials for garments, tagging materials and other accessories featuring high safety, uniformity and economy.
