GF Tube Installation Method

Here’s how to install the heat-shrinkable tube.
By following the procedure, the installation will result in a cleaner finish,
free of foreign matter and wrinkles.

Procedure

Please use a commercially available hot-air gun.
Select a GRC with an inside diameter as close as possible to the diameter of the roll. The length should be about 200 mm longer than the length of the roll.

Points

  • Rolls should be rotated at a constant speed.
  • Be sure to shrink from one side to the other. Hot air temperature is 150 to 200°C on the tube surface.
  • To prevent air bubbles, the direction of hot air should be opposite the hot-air gun’s direction of travel.
