Expansion of pre-cut vegetables market

Recently, as the number of dual income households increased, the market of pre-cut vegetables, which is easy to cook, has expanded. However, pre-cut vegetables are difficult to keep long, and the expiration date is short. In the worst case, unsold products are discarded.

Reasons for not lasting long

There are various reasons for deterioration depending on the types of vegetables, but the increase of bacteria because of temperature and gas has a huge impact.
Cut vegetables are difficult to keep long since peculiar odor occur over time and fading and wilting lead to a decrease in commercial value.

Why do Gunze develop freshness preserving film?

Gunze has a large market share of high anti-fogging and high sealing quality among bean sprouts and mushrooms for its freshness keeping effect.
Utilizing Gunze's unique raw material blending technology and multi-layer oriented technology, we will reduce the causes of deterioration of each vegetable and improve to keep freshness without making holes on the film surface.
