Osaka-Gunze Limited (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan; President: Toshiyasu Saguchi) [TOKYO:3002] is pleased to announce the "Taisho Romantic Autumn Photo Spot Tour" taking place from October 25 (Sat.), to November 24 (Mon.), 2025.
During this limited-time event, visitors can explore two historic landmarks in Ayabe City—the Gunze Museum, a beautifully renovated silk cocoon warehouse from the Taisho era, and the Gunze Memorial Hall, formerly the company’s headquarters—both open free of charge as unique photo locations.
In collaboration with the Sea of Kyoto DMO and the Ayabe City Tourism Association, a series of joint events will also be held across local attractions such as Ayabe Onsen and Tokoin Temple, inviting visitors to experience the charm of autumn in Ayabe through photography and exploration. Stroll through the picturesque streets, capture moments framed by Taisho-era romantic architecture, and immerse yourself in the nostalgic beauty of the season.
Gunze remains committed to fostering community engagement and contributing to sustainable regional development through initiatives that celebrate local culture and history.

About Gunze and Gunze Museum
Opened in 1996 to mark Gunze's 100th anniversary, this exhibition facility was created by renovating a silk cocoon storage building used during the Taisho era. It underwent further renovation for the company's 120th anniversary in 2016, reorganizing its exhibits into the "Foundation Hall," "Modern Hall," and "Future Hall."

About the Gunze Memorial Hall
This exhibition facility, utilizing the former headquarters building constructed in 1917, allows visitors to learn about Gunze's history. The Main Exhibition Room displays materials from Gunze's founding to the present day, accompanied by detailed explanations, enabling visitors to understand the vision and journey of the founder, Tsurukichi Hatano.

Photo spot tour at Ayabe Onsen (Natural hot spring baths)
During the event period, the scenic restaurant at Ayabe Onsen will be illuminated. The city mascot character "Mayu-P" costumes are also available for free rental. We also recommend the serene spot surrounded by nature, the National Treasure “Kohmyoji Temple and Nioh Mon".

Photo spot tour at Tokoin Temple
During the event period, the Niomon Gate at Tokoin will be illuminated. Smartphone stands will be available, and limited-time temple stamp will be sold.
