“Gunze Integrated Report 2023” Published
Osaka-Gunze Limited (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan, President: Toshiyasu Saguchi)[TOKYO:3002] published the "Gunze Integrated Report 2023" in September.
The "Gunze Integrated Report" is an integrated report of the Gunze Group's corporate and business strategies, corporate governance, and environmental and social initiatives, and aims to provide an easy-to-understand overall picture of the Gunze Group and its history of value creation.
In the mid-term business plan that began in 2022, the company set a vision for the year 2030 as "VISION 2030. The vision for 2030 is to contribute to society and achieve sustainable growth for the Group through sustainable management that balances "social value" and "economic value". This report presents the progress of the four basic strategies (Creation of New Value, Evolution of Corporate Constitution, Environmentally Responsible Management and Capital Cost-focused Management) set forth in the "VISION 2030 Stage 1," as well as initiatives to be implemented in fiscal 2022.
The report also introduces businesses that are working on sustainable management strategies, including the medical device business, which became a newly independent segment this fiscal year; the plastic film business, where the new Moriyama Circular Factory (Resource recycling factory) was completed; and the apparel business, which has evolved into a structure that combines comprehensive capabilities in the apparel industry through organizational restructuring. This report is intended as a tool for stakeholders to learn more about the company and its operations.
The company uses this report as a communication tool with our stakeholders and continue to engage in sustainable management through constructive dialogue to further enhance the corporate value of the Gunze Group.
